Andy Garcia was born and raised in sunny Miami, FL. When he was six years old, his reading teacher asked him to play Kurt in The Sound of Music at his elementary school's musical revue. Even though the video shows him running offstage crying, from that day on, he was hooked.
After extensive training in voice and dance, he was accepted into New World School of the Arts for Musical Theatre. While attending NWSA he was also given the opportunity to attend French Woods Festival for the Performing Arts where he played various roles such as Bobby Strong in Urinetown, and Younger Brother in Ragtime.
Andy's passion and drive for theatre led him to The Boston Conservatory where he has had ample opportunity to perform at the school and at various professional theaters in the area.
Andy received his BFA in Musical Theater with an emphasis in acting and dance in May 2016. Since, he has moved to New York City to pursue a career in Theatre.
